Terms of service

Last updated 26 July 2026

These terms govern your use of SQLore — the desktop app, the web app, the CLI and this website.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using SQLore, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service is provided by SQLore, registered at [COMPANY ADDRESS].

2. What the service does

SQLore connects to a database you control and generates SQL from questions asked in natural language. Generated SQL is validated to a single read-only statement and executed on a read-only connection.

Answers are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. The SQL behind every answer is shown to you precisely so it can be checked. You are responsible for verifying any result you rely on, particularly for financial, regulatory or operational decisions.

3. Your account

  • You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • One account is for one person. Do not share credentials.
  • Tell us promptly at baraxuntech.official@gmail.com if you think your account has been compromised.

4. Your data and your database

You keep all rights to your database, your schema and your questions. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — to process your question and schema in order to generate an answer. We do not use your content to train models.

You confirm you are entitled to connect the databases you connect, and that doing so does not breach an obligation you owe to anyone else.

5. Plans, questions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance through Razorpay at the interval shown on the pricing page.
  • Each plan includes an allowance of questions. One question is one thing you ask; the several model calls used to answer it are charged once.
  • Your allowance refills on the anniversary of your subscription date, not on the first of the month.
  • When your allowance is exhausted, question-answering pauses until it refills or you add more. Nothing is deleted.
  • Prices may change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before the next renewal.
  • Taxes are added where applicable.

6. Free trial

Where a free trial is offered it runs once per device, not once per email address. The app sends a one-way hash of a hardware identifier to enforce that. Attempting to circumvent it — including by tampering with the app — is a breach of these terms.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account page. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for, then the account reverts to the free plan. Our refund position is set out in the refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the service to access a database you are not authorised to access;
  • attempt to bypass the read-only guard, the quota system, or the entitlement checks;
  • resell, sublicense or provide the service to third parties as your own;
  • reverse engineer the service except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable in your jurisdiction;
  • use the service to break the law, or to build a directly competing product.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. The desktop app runs on your machine and will keep working while our servers are down, except for features that require them — sign-in, entitlement and AI answers.

10. Third parties

The service depends on third parties, including AI model providers, Supabase and Razorpay. Their outages and changes can affect the service, and we are not liable for them beyond taking reasonable steps to restore service.

11. Warranties

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated SQL is correct or that answers are accurate.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data — including loss arising from a decision taken on the basis of a generated answer.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully. Where practical we will give notice first. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here and, where they affect a paid subscription, notified by email before they take effect.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

16. Contact

baraxuntech.official@gmail.com for anything about these terms; the contact page for everything else.
