Open the .dmg and drag SQLore into Applications
Double-click the file you downloaded, then drag the SQLore icon onto the Applications shortcut in the window that opens.

Open it once — macOS pushes back the first time
SQLore isn't notarized by Apple yet — that needs a paid Apple Developer account we haven't taken on — so Gatekeeper shows this the first time you open it. It's a publisher check, not a finding about the file.

Allow it in System Settings
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom, and click "Open Anyway" next to the SQLore message. Confirm with your password or Touch ID, then open SQLore again — it launches normally from then on.

This step exists because we haven't yet paid for Apple's notarization program — not because anything is wrong with the download. It only asks once per machine.

On some Mac setups, Control-click (or right-click) the SQLore icon and choose “Open” instead — the dialog that appears offers an “Open” button directly, and step 3 above isn’t needed.
